APPEAL FROM DODONG GULLAS

Executive vice president Jose “Dodong” Gullas of the University of the Visayas is calling on all UV alumni here and abroad to join the donation drive labeled “Bunga sa Gugma” for the unfortunate victims of the landslide disaster in Guinsaugon, St. Bernard, So. Leyte.

Initially, the Gullas family is looking into nthe possibility of granting scholarships to the victims' or their children of the St. Bernard catastrophe who are students of the University of the Visayas, as part of their continuing commitment to love and service.

Gullas has appealed for cash donations from generous givers to help alleviate the sufferings of the families of the families of the tragedy victims. The university is celebrating on March 13 the 101st birth anniversary of Dona Josefina R. Gullas, and these gestures of love and concern would be the best birthday offering to her.
